David Adelman

David Adelman is Managing Director and General Counsel of asset management firm Krane Fund Advisors. He practiced law for more than 25 years as a partner in two global law firms. Mr. Adelman previously was Managing Director with Goldman Sachs and has served as the 15th United States Ambassador to Singapore. He is an Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches international relations in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Adelman is a recipient of the U.S. Navy Distinguished Service Medal, the highest honor awarded by the U.S. Navy to non-uniformed personnel. He earned his J.D. from Emory University and received the Emory Medal. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
